Microsoft Publishes Humanist AI Code That Puts Human Control Ahead of Model Capability
A draft code for Microsoft AI’s MAI models puts constraints against resistance to human interruption, correction or shutdown ahead of maximizing general-purpose capability.
Microsoft AI has released a draft Humanist AI Code of Conduct that would make meaningful human control the governing priority for future MAI models. The proposal is not yet used to train current models and is open for six weeks of public consultation.
